How would you celebrate your birthday?

A birthday is a day that comes once a year when a person celebrates the anniversary of his/her birth. So a birthday is  much more than an occasion to receive gifts, it is a chance to remember the day that a major event happened, to celebrate and give thanks and reflect upon how fulfilled we are.
"It is good to be thankful for what you have in life and what you have accomplished...If we are to appreciate the fruits of life, we must first appreciate the tree that bears the fruit: birth itself."- Lubavitcher Rebbie.
To a child, like my 9 years old daughter, she believes it's never a birthday without a cake and she would often ask why should we go to school on our birthday? So there is no better way to celebrate a birthday than to commit a special act of goodness, not because someone suggest it but simply because our mind want to express its thanks for being born and alive.

To some people birthday celebration is about gathering with friends and family and studying something meaningful together. For me, it's all about making  magical memories!
Now,  how would you celebrate your birthday?

I would stick my nose to my computer and spend the day on social media waiting for my cyber friends to wish me a happy one. And count! Isn't that what people do nowadays???
